Word Photos is designed for parents who would like to use writing as tool to capture and preserve special moments with their children. In a relaxed and supportive atmosphere participants will:

     -Experiment with the use of a writer's notebook, a journal, or a common book in order to find the one that suits them best

     -Examine actual notebooks and projects from the instructor’s personal collection

     -Discuss various ways to establish and sustain a realistic writing routine

     -Explore how journal entries can be used as the raw material for more polished pieces of writing or special projects
